In the Gospels, the other reason that they became angry was that Jesus acted as if he was the Messiah, and said he was the "Son of God". This meant that he was either a terrible liar, that he was mad and just imagined it, or that it was true. But Jesus did not seem to be mad. So that left only two choices. Most historians agree that Jesus did indeed exist, and was a Jew from a place called Galilee, in a town called Nazareth, in what is now Israel. They also agree that he was thought of as a teacher and a healer, and that he was baptized by John the Baptist.

I mean, Jesus said that whoever saw him, saw website the Father. This was different - this was bodily, but it was a transformed body. He wasn't a ghost, He was alive, and the only way I can make sense of that as a historian is by saying that it actually happened.
